Blake Ignaciak is a former collegiate baseball pitcher and the founder of Baseball Mentorship Group, a development platform designed to give young players consistent guidance from athletes who have already navigated the path they are pursuing. Ignaciak had zero offers after high school. He decided to begin his college baseball career at Palomar College before transferring to California State University, Northridge, where he pitched at the Division I level. Like most players, his development was not defined by a single breakthrough moment, but by consistency, accountability, and learning how to approach the game over time.

The idea for Baseball Mentorship Group came from a personal advantage Ignaciak had growing up. His older brother was already playing college and professional baseball while he was developing. That access provided ongoing perspective, accountability, and a clear picture of what the next level required. Rather than shortcuts or perfect drills, the value came from learning how to think, train, and prepare with guidance from someone who had already been there. Seeing how rare that kind of access is in youth baseball today, Ignaciak built Baseball Mentorship Group to bridge that gap. The program pairs young players with current college and professional athletes for consistent, mentor-led development focused on habits, mindset, and long-term growth.

Ignaciak’s approach to development is grounded in three principles:
Process over outcomes
Consistent habits over quick fixes
Long-term growth over short-term results

Ignaciak remains actively involved in all aspects of the program. He personally vets every mentor, oversees background checks, ensures completion of required training, and matches players with mentors intentionally rather than randomly. All sessions are recorded, and feedback is reviewed after each session to maintain standards, protect families, and continuously improve the quality of mentorship.

Baseball Mentorship Group does not promise scholarships, guarantee results, or sell hype. The program is built on the belief that consistent effort, applied with the right guidance over time, leads to real improvement. The program is designed for families who value long-term development, accountability, and perspective, and who are seeking an additional steady voice to support their child’s growth alongside their existing coaches.
