FAQs
What is the Free Group Session?
The Free Group Session is a live, small-group Zoom session where current college and professional players explain how real player progress works, and why most players plateau despite training hard.
It’s designed to give families clarity, not sell them anything.
No drills. No workouts. No pressure.
Just perspective, guidance, and a clear understanding of what comes next.
How to register for a free group session?
To register for the Free Group Session, we ask that families meet a few basic criteria.
This helps ensure the session is valuable for everyone involved.
Our team would be happy to briefly connect with you to confirm whether the session is a good fit and answer any questions you may have.
What is 1-on-1 Mentorship?
1-on-1 Mentorship pairs players with a college or professional mentor for guidance, accountability, and skill development.
Our mentors stick to the core 5. Designing your baseball routines. Find, explain, and fix what is holding you back the most right now. Set goals with you. Answer questions. And help your player build good habits that stay with you after your time with baseball.
How long are mentorship sessions?
35–40 minutes, held weekly or bi-weekly at a consistent time.
Built by Blake Ignaciak, founder of Baseball Mentorship Group

Blake had zero college offers out of high school. He began his college career at Palomar College before transferring to California State University, Northridge, where he pitched at the Division I level. Throughout his development, Blake benefited from consistent mentorship from his older brother, who was already playing college and professional baseball.
That access shaped how Blake trained, thought, and approached the game.
Baseball Mentorship Group exists to give young players that same advantage. The program connects youth athletes with current collegiate and professional players who provide ongoing guidance, accountability, and perspective. Our mission is simple: focus on process over outcomes, habits over shortcuts, and long-term development over quick wins.
